Send Us Your File

Most businesses today use accounting software to record their day-to-day transactions, and at tax time send this information to their accountant by backing it up on a CD or floppy disk and sending it by post. Some businesses with advanced email capabilities are able to email the file directly.

However all of these methods have their difficulties. As accounting software becomes more sophisticated, the disk volume required for data records increases and the files may become too large to be sent via free mailbox services. Also CDs or disks may become corrupt, or worse, get lost in traditional mail.

FAJ IT Services now provides a complimentary solution to this problem for clients of Francis A Jones. Using the internet you can now upload your data files to us directly.

You can upload any of the following files:

  • MYOB
  • Quickbooks
  • Quicken
  • Cashflow manager
  • Word
  • Excel

Please note that upload time will vary depending on the speed of your Internet connection. Broadband users can send large files (subject to speed restraints), however it is not recommended that files over 3MB be uploaded if you are using a dial-up connection.

Please note also that we need access to any passwords used on the file. You can provide this on the form below, however we stress that the form is not encrypted and we cannot guarantee password security. Alternatives are to ring or email the password separately, or to remove the password prior to uploading the file (and then reinstate it on your copy).
